Boy Scout Personal Fitness workshop


For Boy Scouts, Varsity Scouts & Venture Scouts (who qualify)

  • Complete section 2-7 of the Personal Fitness Merit Badge Workshop
  • Complete initial fitness assessment (1-mile run, 15-second sit & reach, 60 second push-ups)
  • Outline a 12-week personal workout program
  • End with games of human foosball

Participants will need to complete sections 1,8, and 9 on their own.  A follow-up fitness assessment can be scheduled with GAHF after a minimum of 12-weeks ($10) and our councelors can sign-off on the badge at the time pending improvements are demonstrated. Please note the badge can be finished through us but is not required to be completed with us.

Scouts must come prepared with a completed BSA medical form, the Personal Fitness Workshop pamphlet and workbook, a water bottle, snack and dressed weather appropriate for inside/outside activity.
